On 14 and 15 May at Cossano Belbo it twill take place the 14th edition of the IN Festival organized by the Proloco and by the Municipality. Two days completely devoted to handcraft, wine and food of excellence will take place along the village streets and this year a lot of news, you can not miss !

Cossano Belbo, in the heart of Langhe, wants to promote during these days its typical products. The name itself In Festival comes from the all wine and food proposals which made this little village in Langa so famous: tajarin, ravioli al plin, salamin, trifulin, farina del Mulin, Furmentin e Bon Vin. The curious ending of the name of the products and the nickname used to call the well known local painter Cichinin Francesco Bo, inspired the name of this festival which is growing every year its quality and its offer level.

The Festival offers delicious local specialty and best wines from Langhe which will delight the turists' taste. The success of this festival is due to the work of the village Borgate and to the companies from Cossano which prepare delicious typical dishes and wines to be tasted during the week-end. Cossano Belbo, well known also for the quotations in the writings of Cesare Pavese and Beppe Fenoglio, can improve its turistic potentiality thanks to both the scenic landscape and the wine and food richness.

The Festival planning has been enlarged, including Saturday, starting with the oenological conference on "DOCG in...PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE" ending with a wine tasting of Moscato d'Asti and Asti Spumante. During Saturday night you can taste a delicious itinerant dinner delighted by folk music groups and see wonderful fireworks. Sunday will be characterized by the famous touring lunch along the IN guesthouses, by the historical commemoration of the 1274 battle and by the funny run of patIN, then there will be two shows more on falconry. All day long you can see the painting exhibition by Francesco Bo "Cichinin" and a laboratory where some mosaic experts from Spilimbergo will show you some tecniques and some works; then you will find handcraftmen, musicians and jugglers. You can also visit the Mango castle, where the Enoteca Regionale del Moscato is placed and to the cellars in the village. We want to underline that only glass bottles and biodegradabile dishery will be used in order to respect the environment. The entrance is free of charge and to taste all dishes and excellent wines you can use the "SAGRIN" (1 sagrin equal to1 Euro , you can change them at cash desk)

h 14.30 BATTAGLIA DI COSSANO: LA RITORSIONE March 1274. The Marquis of Busca, a gentlemen from Cossano, confiscates a valuable cloth loading from the merchant in Asti towards Liguria. In repraisal, people from Asti organize a troop and beset Cossano. More than 100 people in a costume of the Moretta Group in Alba will give to life a great historical representation, before an exhibition of flags players.
